Ongoing Events

The Slavic Linguistics Forum is a research discussion group open to all interested persons on campus. At the Forum, graduate students and faculty 'workshop' research in progress and receive feedback. The Slavic Linguistics Forum meets every two weeks during the quarter (Thursdays, 4:30-6pm, Hagerty 406). Contact Lauren Ressue (ressue.1@osu.edu) and Maggie Gruszczynska (gruszczynska.1@osu.edu) for details.

Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian Table meets every week during the quarter (Fridays, 5-7pm, at Kafe Kerouac on High Street). It is open to B/C/S speakers at all levels. Contact Josh Pennington (pennington.106@osu.edu) and Vedrana Mihalichek (vedrana@ling.ohio-state.edu) for details.

Polish Table meets every week (Wednesdays, 6-7:30pm, at Kafe Kerouac on High Street). It is open to speakers of Polish at all levels. Contact Maggie Gruszczynska (gruszczynska.1@osu.edu) for details.

Russian Table meets every week (Thursdays, 6-8pm, at Kafe Kerouac on High Street). It is open to all beginning and intermediate speakers of Russian. Students can get help with their homework from advanced speakers, and learn about Russian culture. Contact Lauren Ressue (ressue.1@osu.edu) for details.

Advanced Russian Conversation Hour meets every week (Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30pm, at Hang Over Easy on Neil Ave.). It is open to all advanced and native speakers of Russian. This group is organized by the Slavic Center (csees@osu.edu).
