Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. Nobel Prize awarded to journalist Svetlana Alexievich

The Nobel Prize in Literature 2015 was awarded to Svetlana Alexievich "for her polyphonic writings, a monument to suffering and courage in our time". Her works capture the oral histories of people living under the Soviet Union. She is the first person to receive the Nobal for books that are based entirely on interviews.

Her books include: The War's Unwomanly Face, Last Witness, Zinky Boys and The Chernobyl Prayer
