Andrew Riedy (2008)
Shortly after graduating summa cum laude from The Ohio State University in 2008 with a B.A. in Russian and International Security Studies, Andrew Riedy began work towards an M.A. in Security Policy Studies at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Combining his interests in Russian and U.S. defense policy, Andrew focused his studies on nuclear proliferation and Eurasian regional security issues.
In his first year at GW, Andrew interned at the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation and the Center for Strategic and International Studies, complementing his academic pursuits. He worked as a research assistant at the U.S. Institute of Peace throughout the second year of his M.A. program, supporting the nuclear non-proliferation research of Dr. Andrew Pierre.
Upon graduating from GW, Andrew travelled to Moscow as an Alfa Fellow and took up a position at the Carnegie Moscow Center as a Visiting Researcher, where he supported the work of the center's senior fellows, as well as published several articles of his own. After one year in Moscow, he accepted a position as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of State, where he works today.
Kevin Glick (2013)
While studying at Ohio State, Kevin participated in the 2011 term summer abroad program in Moscow, Russia. The following year he studied two semesters at Bashkir State University in Ufa, Russia. After graduating from Ohio State in 2013 with a B.A. in Russian, Kevin was hired by ZeroChaos Inc., where he works as a Russian Language Ads Quality Rater. At the end of his contract, he plans to return to Russia and work on earning a master's degree at Kazan State University.
