Mitchell Baughman is pursuing a Master’s degree in the Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Culture’s Russian for the Professions program. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in History and Russian. As an undergrad, he wrote his thesis on the relationship between the Latvian government and the Russian language. Mitchell is interested in Russian culture during the 90s, particularly literature and film, and plans to research these topics further during the course of his Master’s program.
