Andrew Kier -- our newest Ph.D.!
Congratulations to Andrew Kier, who successfully defended his dissertation on December 28, 2012!
The dissertation is titled "The semantics of Russian 'about' prepositions: A corpus-based study". The committee consisted of Prof. Daniel Collins (chair), Prof. Charles Gribble, and Prof. Brian Joseph.
The newly minted Dr. Kier is currently working as a metadata specialist and cataloguer at the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC) in Dublin, Ohio, but he plans to look for a position as a subject specialist at an academic library.
Well done, Andy, and good luck to you in the future!
