Dr. Larysa Stepanova has been recognized by the Sphinx Senior Class Honorary and Mortar Board Senior Honor Society for her genuine interest in the educational development of students and for serving and inspiring students.
On Friday, February 15, the Ohio State Romanian Club participated in the 2019 Taste of OSU. 30 different student organizations participated in the food competition, and the Romanian Club received first place. Congratulations to the students and their faculty mentors for all their hard work!
It was a great wekend for the Ohio State Russian language students who competed at the Undergraduate Russian Olympiada at Kent State University. Out of five levels, Ohio State students finished in the top 3 in three seperate levels.
The Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures partnered with the a US Army Civil Affairs unit for a language and culture workshop.
