Ceilidh Orr defends dissertation

Congratulations to Sara Ceilidh Orr, who has successfully defended her dissertation, "The Scrivener De-Scribed: Logos and Originals in Nineteenth-Century Copyist Fiction." The dissertation explores copy clerks as literary protagonists in Russian and Western fiction. The dissertation committee was chaired by Prof. Alexander Burry.

The Ph.D. will be officially conferred at August graduation. Ceilidh will continue in the Department as a lecturer in the Autumn.
