Earlier this month, Anastasiia Gordiienko successfully defended her dissertation "Russian Shanson as Tamed Rebel: From the Slums to the Kremlin". Her exam committee consisted of Dr. Helena Goscilo (advisor), Dr. Ludmila Isurin, Dr. Jennifer Suchland, and Dr. Robert Rothstein (University of Massachusetts Amherst). This fall, she will join the University of Arizona as Visiting Assistant Professor.
