DSEELC Representing at Slavic Linguistics Society

Slavic Linguistic Society Meeting Ad

The department was well represented at the most recent Slavic Linguistics Society meeting, held in September 2016 at the University of Toronto. Faculty member Andrea Sims gave an invited plenary talk titled "Inflectional systems and the dynamic organization of the lexicon". Several current and former students also gave talks: Bojan Belić (Ph.D. 2005, now at University of Washington), Jeff Parker (Ph.D. 2016, now at Brigham Young University), Rob Reynolds (M.A. 2011, now at University of Tromsø), Katya Rouzina (Ph.D. in progress), and Kate White (Ph.D. 2015, now at Rice University). The OSU Slavic linguistics program definitely put its stamp on the conference!
