Congratulations to graduate student Jeff Parker, who has received both a Ray Travel Award and a travel grant from the Complexity in Human, Natural, and Engineered Systems group at The Ohio State University! He will use the money to cover travel expenses to the American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages (AATSEEL) convention in Boston, MA from January 4-6.

AATSEEL exists to advance the study and promote the teaching of Slavic and East European languages, literatures, and cultures on all educational levels.

At the upcoming year's convention, Jeff, along with Professor Andrea Sims, will be presenting the paper "Affx Ordering Constraints and the Processing of Russian Derivational Morphology".

Well done, Jeff! We wish you and Professor Sims the best of luck!
