Katya Rouzina awarded best abstract

Katerina Rouzina has received one of five grants awarded for Best Abstract submitted by a graduate student to the 9th Annual Meeting of the Slavic Linguistics Society. She will use the money to travel to the conference in Seattle, Washington in September, where she will present a paper based on her M.A. thesis: "Contact-Induced Pragmatic Change: A Case Study of American Russian in Minnesota".
