On Saturday, March 21, nearly 30 students from across Ohio came to the Ohio State campus to participate in the 2015 High School Russian Olympiada. The Olympiada competition is the oldest of all the American Councils’ secondary school activities, dating to the 1960s. Students from as far away as Toledo and Cincinnati participated in a variety of events that tested their knowledge of Russian culture and the Russian language.

The success of the 2015 Oympiada would not have been possible without the help of Ohio State graduate students and staff from the Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures and the Center for Slavic and East European Studies, and our advanced undergraduate Russian students!

See you in 2016!
