Congratulations to NSEP Boren Scholarship recipient James Hall.   Next year, James will be studying abroad in Kyiv, Ukraine, taking Russian language classes.  James is a Marine who has served in Korea, Japan, France, Liberia, and China.  James plans to continue working for the U.S. government as a U.S. Diplomat after his Boren studies.  His classes begin in September 2021 barring any delays due to Covid-19 protocols.

Congratulations to NSEP Boren Fellowship Recipient Shawn Conroy for the academic year of 2021-2022. Next year, Shawn will be studying abroad at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv taking Ukrainian language classes.  Shawn has been studying Ukrainian for two years.  He plans to continue working for the US government as an analyst of eastern European affairs after his Boren studies.  His classes begin in September 2021 barring any delays due to Covid-19 protocols.
