Description

Yana Hashamova, professor and chair, Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures, has been named associate researcher of the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts (Institute of Culture and Memory). Established in 1938, the academy is the supreme national institution for science and the arts, housed in an 18th-century baroque palace in the historical center of Ljubljana, recognizing scientists and artists elected as members for outstanding achievements.
