Event Recap: Kalbouss and Oulanoff Lectures

The Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures recently had the pleasure of hosting two fantastic scholars for two of our annual lectures. On September 9th, Dr. Victoria Donovan presented "De-occupying the archive: Art as liberatory practice" for the Kalbouss Innovative Approaches to Slavic Cultural Studies Lecture, and on September 27th, Dr. Edyta Bojanowska presented "Imperial Comparisons in Tolstoy's 'War and Peace'" for the Hongor Oulanoff Memorial Lecture on Russian Literature. We are very fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn from them, and we look forward to the next lectures in the series.
