Slavic Film Series: 3D: Death, Dance, and Dollars in the New Russia:
Little Vera (Malenkaya Vera)
A story about the life of a troubled teenager, Vera, just before the collapse of the USSR. The film shows the daily struggles of a family plaguedby alcoholism, cramped living quarters, abuse, sex, and pregnancy.
Runtime: 115 minutes.
The Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures, along with the Slavic Center, present the Spring film series in connection with the Russian 360 course.
All films are screened with English subtitles.
