The Hilandar Research Library and the Resource Center for Medieval Slavic Studies will host a talk by Professor Predrag Matejic, A Tale of Survival: The Archives and Library of the 20th-Century Icon Painter Pimen Sofronov,in conjunction with the exhibit From Pattern to Painting: The Religious Iconography of Pimen Sofronov that is on display through September 16 in the Thompson Library Exhibit Gallery (Room 125). Co-sponsored by CSEES, the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies, and the Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures.

Predrag Matejic, Curator of the Hilandar Research Library and Director of the Resource Center for Medieval Slavic Studies, will retire on September 13th, after 36 years at The Ohio State University.
