Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

May 2, 2012
4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Ohio Union Digital Lab (3rd Floor)

Please join us for the workshop "Evaluating your Teaching", with guest presenters Spencer Robinson, Prof. Jennifer Suchland, and Prof. Helena Goscilo. Everyone is invited. Refreshments will be provided.

The workshop is designed specifically for GTAs in our department but all are welcome to attend. The majority of the content will be equally applicable to professors as well as grad students.  Spencer will be talking about resources UCAT has to offer for evaluating teaching, Professor Suchland will be discussing how to implement evaluation to improve teaching and Professor Goscilo will be talking about how the department evaluates GTAs' teaching.  It should be both informative and implementable, plus there will be refreshments.

For more information, contact Jeff Parker (parker.642@osu.edu).

This event is sponsored by the Slavic Linguistics Forum and the UCAT Graduate Teaching Fellowship program.
